Relaxation is a key practice for managing stress and enhancing overall wellbeing. The AQA Pre-Entry Level Single Unit Award in Relaxation introduces learners to essential relaxation techniques that promote physical and mental calm. In this unit, students will have the opportunity to watch a demonstration of relaxation techniques and then apply them, maintaining relaxation for at least five minutes using a recognised technique while seated on three occasions.
Learners will also engage in group discussions, sharing experiences about the importance of relaxation and its positive effects on health.
The course highlights the benefits of outdoor space and nature, exploring how these elements contribute to emotional wellbeing.
Through both discussion and hands-on experience, learners will gain a deeper appreciation of the role of relaxation in maintaining a balanced life.
