What is this Learning Programme about?
This Learning Programme is designed to enhance confidence, self-esteem, social skills, organisational abilities, and teamwork, providing students with essential life skills.
They will feel more prepared for challenges and better equipped to manage their time, responsibilities, and relationships.
What will I achieve when I complete?
By the end of the programme, students will have gained practical experience in confidence-building, teamwork, and organisation.
On completion, they will achieve four AQA Unit Award Certifications at Entry Level & Level 1.
What will I learn?
Students will develop an understanding of confidence and self-esteem, learning to assess their strengths, set goals, and build resilience.
They will improve their social skills, communication, and ability to navigate new interactions.
The course also focuses on organisational skills, time management, and self-motivation, teaching participants how to manage their responsibilities effectively.
What activities will I complete?
Students will engage in role-playing, discussions, and real-life experiences to develop social skills and confidence. They will take part in practical activities such as canoeing, rock climbing, or orienteering to build resilience and teamwork.
Additionally, they will complete tasks related to organisation, such as maintaining student journals, managing revision schedules, and creating resources like posters for younger students. The programme also includes a mix of workbooks, independent learning, and support from school staff.
